COOKING & EATING ZAMBIAN FOOD for the first time.

The first in a series of Chris choosing a random country and trying to cook one of the most popular dishes, then Emilie tries it and guesses the country.

Today Chris attempted to make Nshima and Ifshimu from Zambia.

But it should be eaten with something like beef, fish or pork as well. And should also have a very nice gravy. Not nshima and veggies alone, treat the nshima sot of like dumplings

@uncltio

This is fantastic! Nshima is awesome. However, for many people, it is an acquired taste. So, for a first try, that was a great score.

In general, the average Zambian household will serve Nshima alongside a variety of other dishes (beans, chicken, other vegetables, and so on).

Also, this is a wonderful content idea.

Sending love from NYC.
