  1. First, I must start by saying that your voice over is awesome! I love how soothing yet exciting your voice is when you give instruction and describe how the dish is going to taste. You sound as if you already have a professional cooking show! Now…with that said, I made this dish last night but I used beef neckbones. OMG!!!!! Because I used beef, I let it marinate longer and cook longer and it was AMAZING even before I fried it!! My rice broke though…that kinda made me sad. I'm not sure why. I don't think I used the right kind of jasmine rice, I used tomato puree instead of paste(I didn't have any), and I roasted 3 roma tomatoes to compensate(rookie move, I know) but the flavor profile was so outstanding that I didn't care. I can't wait to try more of your dishes! You're a really great host and cook! Thank you for what you do!

  2. Thank you so much. You’re no water tip really helped me not spoil my jollof. It would always end up soggy when I would use Jasmine rice. This time it was perfect! Thank you 💕

  3. wow, sweet move to add chunky bell peppers and onions for moisture. Never thought of it. I've had to sprinkle water / broth. would try your method next, thanks so much for the lovely tutorial
