  1. As much as a good documentary it is and heart-breaking to see people struggling to survive, I find it very amusing. The European countries made colonies in Africa, Asia and around the world; looted wealth and precious resources from those colonies, subjugated and enslaved the people, and left them extremely poor when their rule finally ended. Now they make documentaries showcasing stories of poverty, struggles and resilience. Maybe, at the end of each episode, you should mention yourself in Credits, in big and bold, for the inhuman state of affairs in your erstwhile colonies. France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Russia – you name it. It's not a coincidence that all of them are rich nations today. And all the colonies still poor and under-developed. The problem of immigrants in European countries is also a fallout of this poverty as a result of past colonization. Being from India, I only know too well what Britain did to us. Not Great at all, to be honest.

  2. What a world we live in. The world resources richest country, Congo, lives in such mind blowing poverty level. It is heartbreaking. Kudos to those brave individuals who risk their lives to create this documentary.

  3. What caught my attention in the film is the massive empty uncultivated land while the people complain of hunger. Abundant resources but knowledge missing. "My people perish for lack of knowledge"
