  1. I am not sure any good intentioned Nigerian would go against this project. However, my concern and may be that of the media should bother on deeper details such as the priority, timing, cost, duration specifications , timelines and so on and so forth.
Are there not things that are more important for the nation at the moment ? e.g
Why not work on the power situation for the Nation? to improve productivity
Why not work on the port to ease exports ? to improve exportation and FX inflows
i believe there are scores of other more important and urgent things the Government should focus on at the moment rather than putting funds in a long term project of such magnitude given the current state of our economy.
imaging adding another direct 3.5K people to the unemployment market ?
May God help Nigerian Leaders to do right!

  2. The proposed highway and beach resorts can both exist side by side They should not be mutually exclusive. The highway can and should promote business in the beach resorts.Demolition of the beach resorts is an acknowledgement that the government has failed and does not have an idea of how to have both projects co-exist. One does not have to give way for the other, I repeat they should not be mutually exclusive . It should not be a case of opportunity cost, which is the old way of doing business. Nigeria should move into the 21st century. It is very easy, the highway project should start after the beach resorts. It is that simple and not a rocket science that it is too difficult to redesign, if the will is there, it can be done. OR If it has to start from the present origin, then it should be re-designed to fly over the beach resorts. Tinubu have a heart.

  3. How callous and insensitive can a government be. They are not thinking about the number of jobs that will be lost to their irresponsible decision to remap the highway from its original plan.

  4. The same clowns that said building Abuja capital was misplaced priority. They are now ranting over the much needed Lagos to Calabar super-highway. Damn the torpedoes

  5. So the destruction of Igbos businesses continues in Lagos. Landmark Beach is thy latest. NAIRA (NEVER. ALLOW. IGBO. RULE. AGAIN.) Igbos should stop investing in Lagos.

  6. This is a very bad idea. I do not think there is any bigger ultra mordern central convention cultural center in Lagos. Demolishing will reduce the stature of Lagos as a whole

  7. Your heading should match the video. If you have to, break it up like reputable news outlets around the world do. I clicked to hear about the highway, not Edo state politics

  8. @user-hj9qj4td7q Another white elephant 🐘 project. Why is the government embarking on another Wasteful project when the money could be used to upgrade other seaport in other regions. Improve waterways in Cross River,Delta,Abia,Ondo,Bayesia, and Southeast inner waterways. This coastal road is another unreasonable misplaced priority. What about the environmental factors? What about the effects on our ecosystems in the coastal regions.

  9. I dont support Atiku never have but l agree with him on this,l was thinking the same. This coastal highway looks like a lagos project to me as well.Lagos calabar highway yet we dont know the route in other states, there is no activities going on in other states involved?🤔lt looks like a way of building lagos green line metro to me.At the end of the 47km in lagos,we are going to start hearing stories of looking/sourcing for fund, lack of funding etc.A 700km highway, shouldn't there be activities going on in multiple sections of the highway instead of just in lagos?Nigeria is what it is because the citizens dont actually question anything or hold the leaders accountable.Trying to demolish a 200 million dollars private investment for 800m dollars road seems like a backward mentality.A road that is meant to attract investment in resorts yet you are demolishing an already established, successful, world class resort on the path.Who thinks like that?Except in Nigeria. A few metres away from the resort will not diminish the highway but enhance it…Thank you.

  10. UMAHI is a thief, TINUBU a criminal and APC; All past criminals in government., Another ALPHA BETA PHENOMENON ABOUT TO HAPPEN AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL, We don enter one chance again
