Remember growing up, most of the money for the household went to relatives in BD. Relavtives would steal land and property, that was not theirs to begin with. Remember other BD families would do the same thing and it would cause such a tense situation with their financial circumstances it would lead to families breakup. One of the reasons I came to despise fresh off the boat people from BD who were always favored and those British born Bengalis are 2nd class citizens, yet still expected to contribute to the two faced Syhletis back home.
