One thing I disagree with Bassem. He expects that by voting his viewpoint should prevail. Howwver there are those who oppose hid viewpoint. Democracy has to be thought as a continued struggle. One votes sometimes ro make only minimum gains, just to slows down things from getting worse.

That’s actually the first step in addressing the issue at hand. People in power have the power to change but refuse to do it in their own self interests. So what’s the next step? We can vote for new political parties for change. But the problem is you vote for your local changes not geopolitical changes. That’s why labour will be no different to geo politics and the continuation of excessive deaths . Here is a novel idea, why not completely separate geo politics from local country politics where you vote for geo politicians in a separate vote and party. One in which really stands for humanity and peace devolved of financial greed.
