I agree with some of the words, but historically, Christians are the only ones who ended the slave trade. North Africa have been pillaging and grabing slaves from south Africa forever and still are. So throughout the bible the British and French learned what they are doing is wrong. So they fought wars to end the slave trade. It obviously worked in the western cultures, but it seems Africa still does slave trading. Even Africans pillaged and sold slaves at ports. So yes some of his thoughts have some truth, but not all. Plus Tribes killed other tribes in Africa and even North America and sold captives, It happened globally forever. If Christianity didn't happen; the slave trade would be global right now. So yes, it's easy to listen and believe, but what would have happened if the west didn't fight to end slavery? This is one of the many examples. The Benin Expedition of 1897.

He doesn't matter what you say, he's preaching to the choir. If you think religion is a special area of human thought and you can have your own version and it will work for you against the competition just because it's yours, you would think like he does.
On the other hand, suppose religion was like engineering and you can have your own version but if there is something wrong with it, your airplanes are going to crash, the cars are going to fail, your buildings are going to collapse and so on. The proof of the puddin is in the eating.
