Citizens still face the legacy of apartheid – Ramaphosa

Ramaphosa had admitted the unacceptable levels of inequality. He’s told South Africans attending Freedom Day celebrations at the Union Buildings that many citizens still face the legacy of apartheid. #DStv403

  1. When all else fails blame apartheid, this is a weak show of character from the president and the ANC, what has the ANC achieved in the past 30 years? besides the obvious that citizens battle with every day!

  2. What a lot of horse twang😂😂😂😂no electricity, water, schools, public transport, railroads, docs, health care,a never ending list😂you were given all 30years ago in working order however as we all know you destroyed it all during your 30years of free for all government.Go away

  3. The ANC did nothing for the black people in the past 30 years. Let's just pray they realize it. Let's pray even harder they don't go vote EFF or MK. Zuma demonstrated his corruptness with the Guptas. Malema will send this country directly to civil war.

  4. Stop blaming apartheid for your failures.
You and the ANC are pathetic for not taking any responsibility for 3 decades. What's the point of power leadership service and authority with no responsibility? We're sick and tired of this as South Africans having to suffer under your corruption and propaganda.

  5. How does this idiot stand there and tell people about equalities when its his party whom have broken ESKOM, Transnet, sanitation, drinkable water, broken roads etc etc. Who will rid us of these tyrants?

  6. Iam sure in the year 3024 ,a thousand years later assuming they are still in power , they would still be blaming apartheid for their incompetence 😂😂😂😂😂

  7. No miss p.m s African citizens ar saffring crime robbery kidnapping rapist most interests ar go away from country Safford job bc most businesses factory ar cols crimes is fares s African citizens loss life

  8. If the economy tripled from what it was in 1994, then it means also tax revenues increased. What happened to the money collected from citizens. The biggest mistake for ANC in 1994 was that when they got power they prioritised looting of state funds instead of focusing on building dams, power stations, proper houses and sanitation.

Miss-management and corruption of state resources are to blame for the current state of affairs and not Apartheid.

  9. Yeh sure Cyril So now instead of living in a shack in a rural area he lives in a slum in a big city like Johannesburg where the whole city is a slum
    You call that progress??

  10. For how long must apartheid still be blamed for the shortcomings of the ANC government? Why not go back in time and start blaming the Romans and Greeks for inventing democracy or the Arabs for maths and time?

  11. 7 things white people have that the ANC people don’t

    1. Generational wealth

    2. Social capital

    3. Early childhood development

    4. The benefit of the doubt

    5. A financial head-start

    6. Self-sufficient parents

    7.Functional brain development

  12. Yes, there is a huge divide between rich and poor, but the ANC stands firmly in the centre of that divide, looting the money and opportunities that could have narrowed that divide, all the while conveniently masking their corrupt and incompetent behaviour by blaming all the current problems on Apartheid.

  13. How many illegal immigrants, nigerians selling drugs, bussinesses closing down , looting to name a few reasons as the problems caused by the incompetent ANC goverment, are the main reasons why so many schooled and others do not have work. Have a nice PHALA-PHALA day !

  14. Wow, after 26 years of complete corruption and looting of our country, how can you still lie to our people? This country was in a good state when Nelson Mandela and Mbeki handed over power! Yet, those very corrupt leaders after Mandela and Mbeki, including other parties, now established still want to blame apartheid? We have moved in, get better excuses!! You failed us and those who died the struggle!

  15. Many countries faced world wars millions died and millions were left without a roof. Some had bombs detonate creating radiation zones none could enter and all of them are back at being first world. Your excuses is pathetic. Dont know real struggle or loss

  16. It sad to be oppress by you Mr President and your friends, don't blame apartheid. Your party has been in power for 30 years but some people are still living in shacks.. no jobs. It is you n your combrades who must celebrate this day
