Does that stump grinder only cut sweeping right to left? Seems like it’d be more efficient cutting in both directions.
Evan, you don't know me from "Adam". Been a subscriber for a few years, never sent anything out to you. It has been fun to watch you learn about farming and fun to have you teach me some things I had forgotten or didn't know. Raised on a farm in the U.P. of Michigan, been a math and science teacher for years, and I miss/don't miss the days of farming. It has and will be a pleasure to follow your adventures for as long as time will allow. Happy New Year to you and yours. That which you do on your property is a fading trade/lifestyle I am sorry to say. Keep up the work and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Storing bar or tower sections I’ve found cantilever racking or vertical storage racking worked for us. Some consideration is the space needed, length of material, and the fact you normally need to bolt it down. Even some sort of narrow racking between vehicle bays works well. Have even used mobile pipe carts so they can be moved where needed or tucked out of the way as necessary.
I know u r right, as we had our own wel driling and Wick just wore himsef out. Our bodies need rest. enjoy watching u and Rebecca work together, Glad she is getting her own library, as I love books too.
Nice going

I watch your channel and find the commentary is well versed. The vids you produce seem to be second nature to your audience. In other words you and Rebecca produce excellent work. Understand the brake. Everyone needs a vacation and some r&r every now and then. Thanks for sharing and never feel that something you think is not note worthy. An avid viewer. Thank you and wishing you guys a great New Year.
👍
Bacon yay or nay ???
Good to see you back at the wheel again but I am really that you both took a break and enjoyed your holiday time with your families. As years go by the time means so much more for us "OLD FOLKS" and you young folks is what brings the joy to us. It is really looking good around there and the animals are enjoying their time with you. Stay safe and Have a Happy Prosperous New Year. Fred and family.
Do have an idea why the former owners of your property used it as a landfill? Sorry if you answer this question a lot.
You're such a good guy Evan, and Rebecca is such a sweetheart…enjoy watching how you two interact when you're doing what you all do! I laughed out loud when you were talking about viewers telling you not to turn your back on Oliver, then here comes Mia almost getting close enough at full speed, to have taken you out. Funny, not funny! Thanks for sharing!😘😘
Love yalls videos !
Love watching all your improvements, you two are ones to emulate. Your efforts making these videos are appreciated, thank you. 😊
Hey Evan ,i know you say some jobs are too small or menial to include in the video….but you are wrong. We would like to see how you organise a mess etc as these tasks are needed to be done on the farm. Hi Rebekka
What kind of stump killer did you use in a few videos you posted.i want to get some to put on a few stumps that I'm not digging out with the backhoe
Awesome Video
Chamber Vacuum Sealer if you don’t currently own one I would highly recommend you acquire one. Don’t opt for the Food Saver style they cost you more for bags and in the long run are not the best investment. We recently purchased from JVR the Vac100 and it’s a lifetime investment and parts will be available in the future. You kinda get what you pay for. Good luck.
You should build a scratching post for the cattle
How do you like the DJI Mic vs the Rode? All I've ever used is the DJI setup. I recently upgraded to the DJI Mic 2 so that I could directly connect the transmitter to the OSMO 4 or 5 without having to connect the receiver. Makes for a pretty compact setup without the need for cables.
Good to take a break once in a while.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Wishes for a Happy New Year. The farm just keeps looking better and better. Don't apologize when you need to take a break, just take it. Film the everyday stuff, I think most people would enjoy it. Not every journey is spent in the fast lane. The stump grinder has certainly paid for itself! Get ready for some brutally cold weather on the way in the next two weeks. Stay safe and God Bless you all.
Love the Moab hat Rebecca. I did a sxs trip to Moab back in May of 24. It was a great place to visit and ride!
Plus I could see my dashboard of my sxs as there are not 200 stickers on it. 😂😂😂
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤ another great episode ❤
We enjoy your channel. Thank you
For Christmas i asked for more signage to put up on the walls of my building after painting them bright white. So now I have altogether close to 300 of them. I like the ones about tractors and some of the crazy sayings. The old soda signs from back when I was a kid. I got some money to spend on Amazon too! And of course 2 days after Christmas is my birthday, so more gifts.
Happy new year
Happy New Year my friend! Hope you and Rebekah have a wonderful and prosperous New Year and stay healthy. You are doing a great job on YT with both the farmstead and Solar channel. (I just wished I understood the solar better). Have a great week.
Nice hair cut
Hi….Merry Christmas to you both Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead 🎄⛄🏡🐔🐓🐣🐤🦃🐑🐄🐖🐷🦮🐈⬛🦆🦢🎣🎏🐠🐟🐝🎥👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
Honestly thought Myer was going to clean you up for second there.
Can I ask how the new pasture is coming along?
Merry Christmas and a happy new year, remember to chain up the pto guard
Evan you have a faithful fan base that loves you and Rebecca. Y’all been working hard sometimes too hard. With all the responsibilities of the farm plus running two YouTube channels please don’t burn yourselves out.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Evan! Always enjoy your videos because of the diversity of them. From tractors to animal care to building and clean up! Keep up the good work 💯👍🏻🙏
Merry Christmas from New Zealand.. we have just finished out summer jobs around our farm prepping for the winter again. Happy new year
I’ve commented from the beginning that it’s Mya you have to watch out for. That cow is sneaky and will go for you some day.
Sometimes, if the ham stays in the freezer too long, it we’ll have a strong flavor and smell😊
A mezzanine in that workshop would be useful! Thanks for your videos, you have a beautiful property! 🎉Happy New Year. 😊
