  1. This case makes me so sad. Consumer reviews is part and parcel of information age. We make our purchase decisions based on consumer reviews. Where has been Mr Eri all this time to know that as a business owner. He should welcome customers opinions… That's information that he woukd otherwise have to pay for

  2. The action by the insolent, megalomaniacal Erisco CEO does more to destroy the so-called "brand" he built than whatever Chioma posted. There is something called freedom of speech. Have you ever posted or talked about less than optimal service with your phone company or any other product or service? Should you be jailed for that? The lawless country will not change until citizen enablers, change. please, miss the rest of the sane world with your nonsense

  3. Her initial review was that the product is too sweet. That's an opinion and not subject to libel. A cybercrime is basically a malicious attack intended to destroy the subject's reputation or livelihood. The company needs to prove her intention was malicious and not just a review. She didn't attack the company she offered an opinion on its product. The dialogue that followed with the relative of the owner of the company was argumentative, so the reviewer can claim provocation to anger as a justification for anything negative that she said in this context.
The Nigerian Police, in my view, only act with this amount of zeal when motivated by bribery or political pressure. The company owner has definitely ruined his business while attempting to punish this lady for her review. The company actually helped to spread the negative review via the media by acting with such aggression. All the company needed to do was engage the reviewer and her followers and turn the situation into a PR opportunity by launching a competition and offering a prize. The company could also agree to reduce the sweetness of the product, which would rectify the complaint and potentially boost sales. The key to good business is paying attention to customers needs.

  4. though i am not in support of Erico high handedness of the case but you people in the studio especially your guess are biased becos why did she not talk about where she replied someone that they should tell their brother to stop killing people is that how to review a product too ? even when they told her that if she dont like the product she should buy another one or care customer care . what i see hear is this is what happen to people that talk too much like they know every thing .especially on social media.
