With All those Bases in fact The US never won any single War
China is not a military threat to the US, when it's surrounded by dozens of American bases called the first, second and third island chains. US has taken complete initiative here by miles.
I don't get it when all these medias shouting "China threatens world security" for anything China does. Threaten with WHAT?

No need for so many bases, what a waste of money and personnel. Future warfare between great powers will start in space and cyberspace first, then follow by economic war and sanctions, last thing is a hot war. US might want to jump the que and try for a proxy war which they will fund but most likely stay out. For a proxy war to happen you need to control the local media and pump it with patriotic misinformations to bring up the hate for the intended enemy, for example is Philippines that the pro-US media has been continously encourage Philippine to make a stand for sovereignity of South China Sea islands(1950's US military report said the area are Chinese territory but US should support Philippines to claim them), same goes with Okinawa which US gave to Japan. US has actively interfere with China since the end of WW2, one of the reason was Communism and USSR, and US sees China as part of. China today is not a communist country, but a semi-social capitalism country that has a very large market and fast growing high tech sector. Since US becoming more paranoid and US leaders are more idiotic than ever was, its' international images are shattered in pieces. Globally people no longer see the US as role models but a mere selfish ludicrous true axis of evil that is behind many of world's crisis.

Djibouti is the only foreign military base China has… not because they don’t want to, but because it has long been its tradition to bring troops else where. PRC might be the most aggressive regime China has ever had(except the Yuan Mongolians), yet it did not invade a foreign country in its entire history, never.

At the current rate, the US will be bankrupt and have to sell the base to China. The US thinking is getting old. It is always looking for wars and gain control in the chaos. The World will work with China in peaceful way. Ask yourself, have China created conflict and wars in recent time?

U.S. Militarty got 9 bases as well here in the Philippines,and both gov't are also discussing further bases to be open in the near future. Houses thousands of troops,vehicles,and equipment,and the U.S. provide military training and expertise to the Philippine Armed forces.
Interesting, how to make one base sounds more frightening than 800.
