Pl see that damed water is partly used for agriculture, industry,household.
If another dam cum power house could be built 9km down stream,the power generated could be double.this is called storage hydraulic power plant. African if developed could change the world economy.
It is good effort to usr river nile by all nations through which it flows.use of river resources is way to development.

Great work, how at what cost ? Just like many China funded projects, we may be heading into big debt trap or recolonization, Express highway , Ebb Airport, several roads all on chines loans , debts to paid even our great grand kids

Why isn't Egypt raising a case against this project as compared to GRD in Ethiopia?I thought the Nile is the source of water for both projects.

Please note that this underground power station is not the first one in Eastern Africa. GitarU Power Station in Kenya – a 229 MW Hydroelectric Power Station , commissioned in the late 1970s , is an UNDERGROUND POWER STATION . Please check the Easter Africa Power Pool. You will find many.
