Let me tell you something, Zambia owes China $3 billion and the time frame given to repay the loan is 15 to 20 years. Zambia has a G.D.P of $20 billion and repays that money by giving China $340 million each year. The news that China is set to take over our power utility company, Zesco, is fake news. It's a propaganda created by the west through Africa confidential to cause confusion in Africa and Zambia. As we are speaking right now, Africa confidential is being taken to court for publishing fake news. The west is afraid of losing its influence over Africa and so it comes up with a propaganda. Are you even aware that the United States is also pumping $60 billion to counter the influence of China in Africa. Get your facts right. America lends you money, the IMF lends you money, you also have euro bonds and also Britain lends you money, but when China lends you money, you say that it's colonizing you. The same China you are condemning built the headquarters of your so called African Union, where your pan africanists gather up for their meetings. The same China built your railway station in Kenya-it's considered the biggest project that your country has had since independence. The same China you are condemning has built airports, roads, schools, hospitals and other projects that the west has failed to provide you through their loans. Wake up fellow Africans, China is doing nothing but giving you the help you need. Taking control over a business is not colonizing. Understand the difference. Colonizing is when other countries take over your country by force, both in terms of land, politics, the people, and economy. This is not an example of that. If you default on your loan you have to pay the price. Zambia was not forced to accept the loan, it was a mutual agreement between 2 parties. As a consequence of defaulting on the loan, they had to give up a Company. It's business and not sure why this video made it seem like Zambia was the victim when it's not.
How is this colonization, just asking. People have defaulted on loans to America and people say nothing.

I don't understand African people. First, the criticize us in the diaspora by telling us that China is doing more for them that the West when we tell them Africa has no friends. And the Chinese are no better than the Europeans. We learned this after over 400 years living in the West. Now all of a sudden they are defaulting on their loans to China and the Chinese are taking over the prime economic interests and using the infrastructure they built to take out the goods!! Now AFTER selling out to the Chinese how dare you complain?
