I have some reservations regarding Maresca style.
Chelsea plays too much of wing-play, especially when it is not needed. Meaning, we struggle when our wingers are out of form.
Chelsea tends to slow down counter attacks. They will pass back to start building up from the back, allowing opposition to re-organise.
We couldn't even build up from back against Arsenal, we were doing long balls and could not capitalize on counter.
We no longer see the link between Palmer and Jackson like last season, because we tend to play all ball from the wing.
Hopefully, with time, Maresca style will click but we might see a reduction in Palmer and Jackson contribution.
This coach is not the ONE… We would have needed pochettino to fix what he started
