These guys are all gona be in their 70s talking about when they were the cooking kings of youtube 😂
A 'pork sword'…? 🤣 Wouldn't the G-rated name 'pork fillet' have been better?
For a second I thought they were going to do two hands and a foot for that high 15 😂
Always wonder how clean the lettuce is when its kept whole like that. I grow lettuce in an aerogarden. No dirt at all. I still wash it to get rid of any flies. My apartment is clean, but they get in.
mince up the mushroom stalks fine. cook until they dry out and add to the stuffed mushroom filling or sprinkle over the polenta
If you hear "Stuffed Peppers" and you think "Vegetarian" you've never had Stuffed Peppers in the South. Those are always filled with some form of meat. Shrimp Stuffed Peppers are my favourite.
Is it really food waste if you're gonna save it for something later like the milk and cheese
This is definitely the kind of video I watch this channel for. Holy crap that was so much fun to watch and I never would have thought to do brussel sprouts and mash together like that but it sounds so clever and delicious!
If you steam the potatoes to cook them instead of boiling they taste more like a potatoe. I dice em and steam em. They take less time than boiling as long as the waters already hot.
Hi gang, Lee from the USA here. Loving your channel! I'm not sure about Grocery stores in the UK, but in the states they could be broken down into high, medium and low priced, often with the same brands. I've found for fresh ingredients, the mid and higher priced stores seem to have better ones, but I'll buy the pantry and shelf goods at the lower priced ones. Perhaps you could do a challenge like the same recipe but with ingredients from different Grocery stores?
This is literally what I needed to figure out what to make for dinner for my family tonight. Thank you for the inspiration and for making sidekick!
We love the stuffed mushrooms. Totally found a new love for polenta.
So… um…. Ahhh. XD I love watching these, and normally, I'm learning a tonne… But this time, I apparently thought too far into something, that I'm surprised Ebbers/Kush/the team, didn't think of… Why not just put the mushroom stalks in the chopped up whatever for the stuffed mushrooms? That's what I usually do… >.>
It was so great that I got an airfrier. I mostly eat, some piece of meat with either some pasta or some kind of potato. So it felt like a lot to heat up the whole oven to cook just one chicken breast. It’s both easier and faster with an airfrier.
I'm always so impressed by their skills & knowledge in these challenge videos. It's a shame I have such picky taste buds so I wouldn't acc eat most of their meals lol.
I'd love to see more air fryer recipes, especially if they add a challenge to it.
12:22 Ben you misspoke.. its not slightly pink. its slightly raw xD Giuve it a minute or 2 more, instead of serving raw pork..
Ben made stamppot!
Ben's segment is like an air-fryer commercial 😀
I would say that you should not limit yourself to just 3 meals, because in today's recession, im sure viewers would like to see how to stretch their money. Next challenge is, given enough time, how many home dishes can you make.
I hate peeling potatoes, and never peel them, regardless of how im going to cook them. I love the taste of mashed potatoes made with unpeeled potatoes.
The first chef's recipe (sprout-mash) is very Dutch! Throughout the winter, the Dutch eat A LOT of vegetable mashes ('stamppot'), often served with sausage and/or bacon or some otjer form of pork. Kale-mash is probably most famous, alongside onion and carrot mash, but you can also find endive mash, sprout mash, and many other varieties!
If any of my friends cooked half as well as Jamie and Mike did, I'd call them chefy already
Personally, I love when Ebbers says "That's xyz Sorted!". Just a cute bit of nostalgia. Also, the guys did amazing on this one!
Leaving the butts on the lettuce….🤮
I'm cringing as I hear "buffalonian style" . Adding Siracha sauce does not make them magically Buffalonian style.
Jamie: pork sword
Canadians: I do not think it means what you think it means.
how many portions per course. All very well useing 2 potatos or what ever but if it feed an anorexic gerbil its shit?
Looks awesome! Thanks! I love the idea of the home-made chicken nugs-bites in the air fryer. I'm a big fan of bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs. I cook them from the freezer skin down for fifteen minutes and then skin up for seventeen minutes, with about 5 minutes of carry-on cooking after the beep. I think cutting them up would be equally delicious and would obviously cook much more quickly in a pinch. (When the chicken is done, I put green veg in the bottom of the air fryer after dumping out some of the chicken grease and they turn out amazing with all those bits and bobs left over from roasting the chicken–they cook very quickly, too, as the air fryer is pre-heated.)
Why didn’t Ebbers chop up the mushroom stalks and add them to the stuffing? Then there’d’ve been no waste.
Wait wait wait…… Did u just serve pink pork????? Isn't that an immediate No no?
Wait do you not have fans in your ovens in the UK? In Denmark we have different settings so we can put the fan on in the oven so an airfryer is just a smaller version of a normal oven. Obviously takes more time and energy to heat up an oven, but otherwise no need for an airfryer at all
Kind of surprised the mushroom stalks didn’t just go cut up into the chicken mix which was going on top of the mishrooms
PLEASE MAKE BORSCHT!!!!
Please bring back the "sorted!" catchphrase!!!
It’s been song long, I’ve started hearing “psychic” instead of “sidekick”
"pork sword" I … don't have words.
Truely genius 😍
You could also chop up the mushroom stocks and mix them into the filling… then there would be no food waste
The normals are getting good. You guys should bring in an intern or a college kid for a series and see how much they can progress.
I appreciate the tip about being able to use the oven. I didn't even click on this meal pack because I don't have an air fryer but I think I'll go for it now.
Would love to see more recipes, hacks, and challenges using an air fryer 🤗
What are you doing with the meals after crew dinner surely ?
