This is what £51 worth of shopping at Lidl UK and Asda UK costs.

I decided to compare both grocery stores in the UK as at January 2024 also went to African store to pick few items.

  1. It does make sense to shop around. We live in Birmingham and like that we have a lot of African shops on the High Street now in Erdington. I think I watched your Birmingham wholesale market video before. We often share a box of yams or plantain with others at the market too.

  2. They are all unique in their ways. I prefer ASDA drum chicken always in bags 15pcs £2.50. Fish fillet etc.
    Lidi for eggs, bread, etc
    Aldi for cereals etc. But Tesco, M and S and Sainsbury No No No
