i don't know of a country on the earth that honours and protects women. most countries have laws to protect women and children, especially the west, but the reality is far different. 2025 and 80% of canadian female domestic violence survivors don't report to police due to lack of trust. family courts ignore domestic violence, puts onus on mothers to "get along" and then punishes mother when she can't get her abuser to cooperate. kids voices and safety ignored.
there is no justice system in the west, only a legal $y$tem that runs on money.
2 intensely moving stories. Neither case had compassionate and realistic "justice".

Im from Kensington Philadelphia this stuff goes on in broad daylight all day every day. Sex trafficking,drugs, kids younger then ten years old selling drugs and nothing ever gets done because the police are all on the pay roll. Its about power and control and they want to know theyre taking something from you and you cant control your body – they can. The fear and feeling of control turns these sick fks on. Id pretend it didnt even happen after I said no a few times. I'd just be quiet and look elsewhere. Until you can find a gun or someone with a gun that will use it in your defense, you're outta luck. You can always try to fight the dude, though. But I think they like that part too. You fighting and losing to them. THAT is why all the women I know that have been R worded said they didnt fight. In every video she calls people this word, the subtitles dont pick it up right but its nzen or medicin or something. I understand the context clues that she means people looking into the case or locals in the area, but I would love to know the actual word so I can google the real meaning.

Honestly, I can genuinely see an undereducated, super impoverished, and overwhelmed person would chain someone up for being so mentally ill that they're violent. It's not so wild to think. Is it right? No. It may have been the only option.
Either way, that doesn't fit what's going on. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. Just reasoning it out. It's clearly not what's going on if she's being treated horribly otherwise.

i dont believe she should have died, and my thing is whether or not she loved him romantically or she pressured him to do it, you could tell she cared deeply about him and didnt want him to die for something that she felt was her own fault. I believe she loved him, the first thing she asked about was him, she cried immediately after she found out he wasnt getting the death penalty, i cried for her family and for him because she went through so much, got her justice and died for it and was still blamed as a victim. they lost someone important to them and my prayers go out to them
