  1. Okay, it's not your duty to defend the Naira but your duty to manage the dollar 😅. Is the dollar our national currency? Why the dollarization of our economy?

  2. The policy that the CBN is implementing was geared towards pleasing the international investors while at the same time inflicting untold hardship on ordinary Nigerians. You don't kill your people because you want to please the IMF and the World Bank.

  3. People who know their job make life easy. Yemi Cardozo struggled to answer whether the fiscal and monetary authorities co-ordinate their activities in a seamless manner. He was speaking more in hopeful terms.

  4. Half of those shouting and critiquing would not be able to manage a coconut store. but talk as if they are experts on the economy. At least wait to see impact and then be in a position to complain before una …………..

  5. I commend Governor Cardoso for his continued commitment in returning value and confidence to naira. Nigeria is the only country with multiple legal tenders. No other country I know keeps operation of any other country’s currencies in their banking system. In South Africa, you can not make payment for any thing with dollar. In America, Uk, Europe you can not float an account in any other currency except theirs. Nigeria should follow suit. I see no reason for Nigeria customs should base the import duties on foreign exchange rate. Do we have a currency? We indirectly devalue our currency. Keep up the good work Governor Cardoso. I love ❤️ my country Nigeria.

  6. Brilliant and honest interview by cardoso and even the questions are brilliant, i pray nigeria as a nation have enough fund to sustain this,in the end ,it is for the betterment of us all.

  7. You are building on a SHALLOW foundation by borrowing billions of Naira or using our reserve to battle dollar. No production, no supply. Dollar hike is not go away anytime soon. Nigerians fasten your seat belt. The storm will resurface soon.

  8. Cardoso is not the first and will never be the last. So we will be calmly waiting for another government to come and reveal their criminality. We've been hearing sweet stories like this for 48 years.
