I’ve heard of this country somewhere in a story for my iReady reading lessons and it’s amazing now ❤
Lots of footage here is NOT from Cape Verde. What a joke of a video. Footage of South Africa, Norway, etc in a Cape Verde video??? Who you tryna fool?
I am 99% sure that the footage of Fogo Island starting at 3:42 is from Fogo Island in Newfoundland Canada. I have never been there but to me those images are Clearly from a totally different part of the world. And when I googled it did look a Lot like Fogo, Canada. Too much stock footage in this video and poor research.
Most of these pictures are not in Cape Verde. Sorry!
I have noticed in video's, pictures of Cape Town South African beaches an the twelve apostles mountain views from maidens cove in Cape Town South Africa!
Thanks for the video. Just a remark on how you confuse Portuguese and Spanish… two different languages… close but not the same! Most of words you say are in Spanish are actually Portuguese. Anyway, thanks.
I will awke up on this beautiful Island for my 50th birthday very soon , i am very excited. 🎉
Fogo is a portuguese word for fire… Not Spanish
Plenty of shots of Cape Town and South Africa in this video 🤔
Cape Ver-DEE? 😂
Great video but the narrator needs to learn how to pronounce Cape Verde right and cachupa.
Fogo is the portuguese name for fire*
why have you used several images of CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA?
Wow what a nice place ! Have to put on list
Just returned from 3 weeks Sal, what can I say, nice for once. The people are very friendly, the street dogs and sharks too. The negative points: a lot of pushy sellers on the beach and in Santa Maria. The quality of the food is quite mediocre, except for a few restaurants. Apart from the resorts, the island is a big ruin and visibly in great poverty. Snorkeling from the beach is practically pointless because you see nothing. I wouldn't have missed it, but it wouldn't be worth it a second time.
Seu vicinta and Sao Vicenti?? Lol
Sal island is a Paradise lost…The main tourist town,Santa Maria,is is now a mass tourist destination with the very worst that brings ,drugs ,prostitution, and theft …Worst of all is the amount of litter and garbage in the back streets, and the wild dogs that are on the hunt for food .all over the town..Sal is the most popular and worst island that will give you the worst impression of the country..Try other islands if you go ,but beware this place is not what you think..
This was the best video I sent on Cape Verde, thank you!
You did such a great job by describing our traditional food which it's most difficult. I just couldn't understand how you couldn't find an accurate images of fogo, a quick Google map search could show clearly that it it has nothing to do with the video description. Definitely half of the videos is not from Cape Verde, it it's definitely an amazing country to visit and each island has its beauty in a different ways. All your description matches the reality but not the images you added sadly 😕
3:44 dude that pictures are not from cap Verdes.
It’s obvious that the one(s) who has made this video hasn’t been on Cape Verde, at least not on Fogo. There is another Fogo Island, in Newfoundland, where this footage is taken from. Do your homework..
How can Fogo mean "fire" in Spanish if they speak Portuguese in Cape Verde? You better check that one! And also Cape Good Hope, another name forged by the Portuguese, is in South Africa!
Fogo is the Portuguese word for fire fogo is not a Spanish word.
wow so many pronunciation errors, not to mention grammar errors in the script. Another low effort channel
Excellent. I am planning a huge birthday group there for a client. This was very helpful
great video!! But some information is not entirely correct. Sal is the island that receives the most tourists thanks to the resorts and one of the most beautiful beaches, but compared to some other Cape Verde Islands it is not the most developed. Each Island is unique some are more dessert like and other more green and others with a city night life
Is this an AI voice? If so, it has really impressive inflection.
In Praia it’s beautiful trust me good to relax
I’m from Cape Verde in Santiago
First of all Cape Verde is a Portuguese speaking country. Fogo isn’t a Spanish word. Fogo is the PORTUGUESE word for fire. What a beginner mistake.
My stepmother is from Cape verde
Pity that the idiot AI algo which made this video couldn't tell the difference between Cape Verde and Norway…those wooden houses in the Fogo chapter are definitely Scandinavians not Capeverdian…
