It was a most Misguided Program that only exacerbated the Housing / Rental Crisis in Toronto and other urban cities and opened itself up to Exploitation by those wishing to "Game" the system. The majority of these "international students" are from China / East and South Asia / India & Pakistan and Most of the problems they experience were CAUSED by their Own Community in Bogus Academies / False Applications / worthless Accreditation and Slumlord exploitation. So there is some COMPLICITY that underlies this issue.

This country, called Canada, scams prospective immigrants and uses them for cheap labour. International students bring in at least $18 billion a year into the Canadian economy, and what do they get in return? A false hope of a false so-called Canadian dream that only benefits a few wealthy and real estate owners. Canada is not what it portrays itself to be from the outside. This country can make you broke and homeless in no time.
In 1980 my mother had me leave NYC and go to High School in Pickering Ontario Canadá. I had a great experience there and even stayed a little longer because I have family there. Canada is so beautiful. Obviously it’s changing, everything is so expensive. It’s also sad to hear that the food has went up and taxes are being doubled. Canada is a beautiful country. They need to do better by their citizens and those coming in on student visas and so forth.
