  1. I know of a similar story. A lady got a student visa, went back home, came back and claimed asylum as she was feared she was going to be a victim of FGM. What unravelled her story was she applied for a new passport and changed her date of birth.

  2. They've probably been lied to that giving birth in Canada makes the baby CANADIAN. And since a baby can't live alone, THIS (allegedly) automatically means they get to stay.

  3. Guy, please leave story. The way you are taking this issue is more than normal. This is not criminality, they just tried their luck. Tell me if there is nothing like genitals mutilation in some Nigerian families. God has a better ways of rescuing them, they are not going to be deported. Stop that nonsense.

  4. Just advice pple the most polite way you can becos nobody knows how you settled in. Yea, you can comfortably call 'your people' as notorious because they are not from families that stole govt money so they can comfortably go to school there or buy their way through some other processes. After all, UK is now the second home of Buhari and his family courtesy of the money that belong to Nigerian people. Im not defending any fraud, but Nigeria is not a repository of fraud so dont join others to criminalize Nigerians or Nigeria. You presentation really suck!
Dont talk as if you are the British Envoy.

  5. Sometimes they're too dishonest and they don't like to work like live of the government if go a country try and work hard and help your self make your life better study if have to and work hard for it trust me life may not be easy but I work and study and paid rent all in one and then they and have kids that add more to the problem ⚠️ they need to do better I love them but they overdo it too much I have one daughter and I will remain my one daughter.

  6. Phrankleen, l don't normally get muddled up in these kinds of debates but as a Nigerian American, I see your point of view. However, l still think you must treat this issue very delicately. When the Brits and Americans pillaged Africa and stole everything valuable, which rule of decency did they follow? When they created countries of people who nothing in common, just to create a fragmented, disorganized society which they can further exploit, which rule did they obey? Those selfish actions are partly responsible for the coarse in Nigeria today. Having said, we can't undo the past, but Nigerians and Africans must realize that greed is destructive and if they live in Nigeria the same way they live overseas, Nigeria will become be. Just my thoughts.

  7. This is real truth! Big ups Phrankleen! That is the reason why the west is tightening immigration rules for Africans and why they slowly stripped all commonwealth nations off their immigration privileges!

  8. Bro, I was just listening to you but you are so right. Africans think that they are smarter that anybody. It the same here in the U.S. not just Nigerians.

  9. The reason Nigeria is what it is comes from the idea that we can always work the system. Th desire to short any system to get criminal selfish gains. This habit is what the citizens try to apply outside the country. The leadership is a function of the fellowship so we get what we are..

  10. Okay, people do not understand one thing when they make these claims.

The host country look at the following:

    1) How prevalent is the claim?
    2) Is the alleged persecution, government sponsored?
    3) Is the alleged problem wide spread in the country/ or can you move to another state/province where such a practice is not practiced?

So before you make a claim for your status, you need to check if it meets covers these 3 issues.

This is not an advice for people who wants to abuse the system, but for a person who is ignorant and gets to be exploited by traffickers, who makes money by sending people abroad.
