It is so interesting that slaves from America were coming to Canada and Mexico and slavery use to be in these countries 🤔
That is Jordan Murphy on the stamp, not Joseph. My 3x great grandfather.
Only our people had to deal with this. No other race of people smh
We have to tell our own stories, because them folks ain't going to do it for us.
You said you want some Reparations 💰💵💶💷💸
I had to 👍 your video❗ 😁
A check? What about a few acres of land, what about free education at the college/university level ?
They are not forgettable just watch the news and crime reports
Reparations will come by force! 🤨 What they don't say is that 40% of our people died because they were not used to the cold…And that the palm-coloured people refused to help them. "They" need to make a stamp for Priceville too. Oooh…that may be a hush-hush topic! 🤐 Your secrets are coming out 🇨🇦
When you get right down to it
It was 1910. Slavery ended 45 years earlier. They were not slaves.
They give us everything but anything useful 🙄
My Grandfather 👴🏾 is from Edmonton Canada 🍁 🇨🇦 ….. you made it grandpa ✊🏿
CORRECTIONS: The people of Amber Valley WERE NOT SLAVES, sis. They were freedmen, as it was 1910. If you're going to introduce information, at least ensure that the information is correct.
Not forgoten… but frozen…😅😅
This long trek had nothing to do with escaping slavery (1:33)! These particular African American immigrants came LONG after slavery was over!
This is good…….but also symbolism……….We need reparations and protections…not symbolism. Facts.
😻 "EMMA ANSAH".
We injuns over here in North America
I learned about this a few years ago as an adult. This should be taught in the schools in Canada.
Amazing news and story I’m going to find out more about this now
