Can We Make The Cut in a Major? (PGA Championship)

In Today’s video we are starting a new golf series! Grant Horvat, George Bryan, and Wesley Bryan take on Major Championship golf courses and try to make The Cut. Today we are playing Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course, the host of the 2021 PGA Championship. Phil Mickelson won this event at -5 under par. The cut was +5 over par!

  1. My dad lives on the 15th on Osprey. Like the third house with the pool it’s the blue one so if you ever play that course play that part three and crossover the giant sand bunker you’ll be looking right at his house. Ive played ocean course turtle point, cougar head and Osprey a dozen times. 🙌🙌🙌

  2. Grant is trash 🚮 I’ll tell you who’s good at golf and that’s Danny Magellan he shot a 61 back in 08 with the winds about the same he quite popular there at the club he’s not tour player or nothing

  3. This series is going to be so amazing. I'm never going to play these places, but so cool to see it from a players' on course perspective.

Can't wait for Merion and Whistling Straights.

  4. 40:39 So Grant and crew, this series is a great idea but I think maybe you expand the idea after the major series😅…
To take it to some of the hardest tracks in the country and I have the first suggestion that everyone who knows about this course will jump right on the bandwagon in agreement
THE ISLAND COURSE AT INNISBROOK. I’m a plus one and my best round is 82. I’ve never played any place more difficult.

  5. Love the coozee Wesley. Great video guys. Your channel is awesome Grant. Keep them coming. I'm in upstate S.C. Never played that course but I've played Hilton Head. All the islands are beautiful.

  6. I hope George will be able to control his emotions better when he actually gets on tour since he got so mad hitting a bad shot or two on a fun YouTube video

  7. This was amazing, love the energy and fun all of you 3 have together and still be competitive! I am a member at Oak Tree National in Edmond where they have had mutliple PGA championships( latest was PGA in 1988). Senior tour coming back in 2027.
I would love to see you tackle this beast from the tips!! Pete Dye design and slope rating is 79.6 higher than Kiawah Island… keep up the great content!

  8. I just watched Rick Shields take on Mertle beech classic. He said he was better than you on paper because he beat you. I watched the videos when you played him and I didn’t see that even though his score was better. Any comments on that?
