  1. Good conversation, but what saddens me is the name of the Jesus is not mentioned even once! Say HIS NAME AND GLORIFY HIM ALWAYS ! Glory be the The Lord God Jesus Christ !

  2. Thank you Piers for an interesting line of questions dealt with compassionately. Thanks Stephen, I'm off to purchase one of your books. Faith strengthening.

  3. Who can say what evolution is? whose is a cell? Observation may not be linear. Words come from person… and bring about your position. You have to see God to know he is everything, Force has a transcriber.
The human brain struggles a lot, understanding with the heart is what opens the eyes.

  4. Darwinian evolution is not the model evolution is based on. Darwin tried to explain reality with the science and methods available him.
Lack of technology left holes in his understanding.
But at the moment nature is s reality. If God made everything nature is not natural its designed. Darwin seen that nature was not supernatural made with the flowed methods of his time. Claiming design yhat was posited in the Bronze age had fat more flaws than Darwin had.

  5. No one knows if there is a God or a higher power and no one knows for sure what happens when we die. Is the concept of God or divine power like Santa Claus for grown ups?

  6. Just another example of someone who can't just admit we don't know, yet. Don't start plugging in magic, because everything we didn't know but found out turned out to be…….. Not magic.

  7. I have an idea , what if we in fact eventually create god (or in fact realise life is circular and during our end need to start it off in the first place) so there was not a beginning and end life loops around

  8. know what I find fucking ridiculous… people who argue over God being real or not.

Who cares. If you believe in God, good for you. If you don't, then fucking good for you too.

    Why is it an issue?

  9. So, no "proof" but lots of anti- science aka denial of science.
Of course the unexplainable is immediately done by a being or entity called "god".
We can say we are spirited, we have a 'being' and some of us are evil, for example Netanyahu is inherently an evil being by actions.
Endless universe and endless time suggests that there's life on other planets, of different states on advancement. They and we are so distant that we won't discover each other in our time.
Light years are disparate when we can only consider 'now'.

These guys 'fascinate' but science will inevitably require more of their guessing. Brian Cox does not address beyond scientific research to mention any deity, he might frustrate these sorts even more!

  10. Due to their respective belief in a God, Piers barely pushes him on any of the pertinent points in the way he would go after Richard Dawkins for example. A weak interview in many respects in large part because of the conflict of interests involved.
