  1. I think CC would want to be traded next season if the present Fever will not be reorganized. She might try the Euro League after this season to feel her popularity in Europe. This is what her sponsors should advise her to further promote their products. If I were Fever management, I will re-organize the team asap. Otherwise, I lose the fan base of CC and it would be bad for the business.

  2. Everyone involved in keeping her off the team should be fired. The only reason I even know who you are is bc of Caitlin Clark. So make sure you thank her next time you talk your nonsense.

  3. Your all missing the point. The debate isn't that she was left off, the debate is that the committee admitted that they felt Clark might be a distraction and she might not get enough playing time, which would upset fans. So, it was never about skill. The men's Olympic team has made teams that were NOT solely based on skill or stats. SO lets stop using that fake argument.

  4. If you're not going to have a rookie on the WNBA Olympic team, then someone should build a time machine to go back when Taurasi, Parker and Stewart were chosen, and exclude them too.

  5. good for her not in USA Olympic Team, I hope not in All Stars Team too, because wnba no need more spectators (TV & Arena)…..so, in this year she @CaitlinClark22 can focus on herself and her team @IndianaFever and than she can bring more sponsor & endorsement for her, her team & her teammates.

  6. WNBA don't deserve Clark, they are not seeing the good side. They dont have to let her play long, just a few minutes for exposure of her three logos. Letbher play with Diana, Breanna, Aja, Sabrina. It will be a historical, awesome moment that will give positive view to the league. It will go viral more will watch if they saw the highlights. Clark fans will start to like those players as well. If they saw her bonding with them, they will watch their game too in WNBA. It will bring more money, get the attention of people of different ountries. On the other hand I wish she will not go if they put her as alternate now, its like they just put her because of the backlash. When they lose, they will blame it to her. They are worried about millions of her fans, don't worry we will not watch it.

  7. The selection committee's reasons for not selecting Caitlin. 1) Not enough experince, although she has played in 19 international games
But, fine. 2) It's more physical overseas. Yes. 3) Caitlin hasn't earned it…well, she is a rookie. 4) Her fans will go bonkers when Caitlin plays a few minutes. How are they going to get on the NBC broadcast? That's the dumbest. Ok… THEN, why is she the 1st Alternate? If Gray's foot stays sore, Caitlin's on the team. Why not another alternate? One bigger, more experienced, less popular? Why?

  8. WOMEN OF WNBA; We are underpaid and want more money. MEN: Money follows interest. Nobody is interested in you. [Insert Caitlin]. EVERYONE; We are interested now. WOMEN OF WNBA; We want more money but promoting or including Caitlin at the Olympic’s on the World’s largest stage goes against our principles. MEN; Ohhhh, you weren’t actually underpaid. It’s all making sense now.

  9. What I find hilarious beyond the obnoxiousness of online CC Stans, is how patronizing the men are and how they don’t respect female athletes. They treat women like little kids on the team getting a participation trophy. They would never tell men to put a male player on the team just because he has a large fan base or accuse other men of hating him and being jealous of him for playing him tough on defense instead of just allowing him to score.

  10. She doesn’t deserve to be an alternate. She’s not good enough. I don’t care how many Stans she has in the cult of CC. That doesn’t entitle her to a spot. She has to get better at playing basketball at the highest level.

  11. BINGO! I have same opinion regarding CC22, the WNBA, Team USA. Caitlyn will make Olympic roster as an alternate, only play 5 minutes, but gets the GOLD. (one of her goals).

  12. Ignoring the 10 points has anyone else watched how bad last years Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston is playing? She's terrible. Awful. The rest of the team outside of Mitchell is just as bad.

  13. Best comp to what Caitlin is going through is Tiger Woods. Tiger was ranked 36th at the end of his first PGA Tour season but was getting a disproportionate amount of attention. He dominated the golf news cycle. The Men and the PGA embraced, Tiger. Meanwhile the Woman are just fighting and resisting this the entire way. Lots of reasons to include Caitlin on the Olympic team, but the majority of the Woman are seemingly going out of their way and performing mental gymnastics to find all the reasons she should not.

  14. WNBA wants to have Caitlin Clark. As do the fans, in droves. Nike wants her. But the players and coaches don’t. Especially the star players and veteran coaches, because they feel they ARE the WNBA. They built it. No newcomer can come into and be hailed as a savior of their baby. Pure and simple, good old-fashioned JEALOUSY. Of course they do not welcome her to have a chance to win an Olympics Gold. Whether she deserves to be on it is absolutely irrelevant to the power that be that select the roster. Truth be told, given the venom bestowed on her by some of the veteran members, I believe she could do without that experience.

  15. Okay, so she's the best thing since sliced bread, gotcha. She will have plenty of time to play in multiple Olympics. We have plenty of good players on the O team, so just chill and let this talented rookie get used to high level, professional b-ball.

  16. The WNBA keeps coming up with reasons not to watch them. If they’re not complaining about getting paid the same, they are making it difficult on a person who could actually change their situation because of jealousy. “But we’ve been here for years…” yeah and nobody cared.

  17. Caitlin is just on a bad team, and Aliyah Boston, my gosh, she has regressed so bad. She would have the most assists in the league by FAR if her teammates would just make the shots! They either miss or fumble. If she was on a team with the same basketball IQ she has, like the Olympic team, man she would shine and you would see her true skills.
