If the African National Congress (ANC) holds approximately 12 million votes in an election, they would indeed have a strong majority, potentially even a two-thirds majority in the National Assembly. This majority would allow them to pass legislation, amend the constitution, and govern effectively without the need for a Government of National Unity (GNU).
