The challenge is that whether you rent or own, there are unavoidable costs associated with maintaining a permanent residence—property taxes, insurance, and utilities like electricity, gas, and water. In places like California, where I currently live, the high cost of living has pushed many people to opt for alternatives. It’s not uncommon to see individuals living in tents to avoid property-related expenses, and the number of people I encounter who reside in their cars is truly surprising. It’s a sign of how extreme the situation has become.

  2. Keep in mind the location of these houses there is a reason these houses are being sold for dirt cheap. It could be the taxes are too high, not worth the hassle to renovate, location not being safe maybe in a Tornado prone area or has earthquake problems, and it’s not in a very developed city.

Hi how you doing today I'm going through your video and taking notes and I'm interested in doing this right now I'm in Cuthbert Georgia and last year I purchased a property buy redemption and right now I'm going through the redemption process a year and a day and year before last I did a redemption property and had it for a year and a day but the owner came back and bought it back so I am interested in the red color text deed sales and right now I am in a property renting and the landlord didn't pay the taxes and it's getting ready to go up next month for redemption text Sale
    I'm kind of tired of doing the redemption so I want to do the tax deed so I can take ownership right away

  10. On a tax deed sale you have a redemption period which allows the previous owner to pay the tax bill and take the home back. Its a short as 30 days in some areas but as long as a year in others. Do your research. You can make good money doing this but you can also lose your shirt. Stay out of Chicago. The Chicago Land Bank controls the foreclosures and tax deed sales there and they are a total scam. They will do everything possible to take the home back after its rehabilitation. The most common thing is for them to say you didnt complete your contract or they will raise the property tax to a ridiculous amount.
