A bus carrying worshippers plunged off a bridge on a mountain pass killing at least 45 people. According to authorities, the only survivor was an 8-year-old child who is receiving medical attention.

"Prayers"…?! Is that all you religious people can come up with?! Really? These were god worshippers whom your god either let die or directly caused the bus to crash and them to die. Stop sending prayers so that you can sleep tonight. Send money, contact the families, send flowers, send a card or a letter, travel there if you can and give them consoling words and a hug. These things do work – not so much your ancient spells and incantations. Leave your immoral ancient mythological system behind and become a whole, responsible, intelligent human.

So tragic. RIP. As a South African citizen, I can say that public transport is not particularly safe. So many drivers, be they drivers driving buses, taxi combies (similar to camper style vans but for adapted for passengers/commuters) or private vehicle drivers are reckless and don’t adhere to basic traffic laws. Furthermore the government has let the railway system pretty much deteriorate, so rail is barely a viable transport option for people or transport of goods, so our roads and freeways are always congested with long haul trucks, public and private transport, especially over the holidays . The government always tells us traffic police presence will be strong over public holidays, but bad crashes always happen. Admittedly this is one of the worst but mass crashes where over 20 + people die are not that uncommon on our roads, smaller crashes of say 10 fatalities are common – all over the country.
I hatee being in this world, people suffer for nothing 💯
