Physical colonization ended 60 plus years ago for most countries of the world! But not many world citizens realize they're still colonized in term of financial system, trade practices, and cultural norms, just like some African American rediscovering their roots, world citizens need to be proud of their own heritage again, it's a mental shackle of inferiority complex that need to be undone to really start triving again post imperialism and colonialism, it may take a few hundreds years until the rest of the re world to be as prosperous, but it's doable to see former glorious centuries in different civilization again!

Yes, the wigs are hideous. There was never any need for them, not in the UK and not in Africa. I can't be bothered to look it up, but I assume this tradition was implemented with the aim of elevating the stature of members of the legal profession and separate them from the public. But let's not get carried away and start disposing of everything colonial just for its own sake, because some things ARE better than African counterparts.
