  1. Thanks Paul for a very good video.
When every thing is opening up again, I would love to visit Uganda.
You are great at describing the different hotels.
    Kind regards from denmark.

  2. Thank you for your video. It helped me to find a hotel. Recently I stayed at a Tiptone hotel. I do not recommend anybody to stay there. At night it is quiet. In the daytime it is noisy because of the construction nearby. I also visited Kenrock Hotel and indeed it is cheaper and better. I arrived at Tiptone at around 3.45 am at night on Saturday and the first price I was told on the reception was 150.000 ugx (almost 40 $) – then I told the lady there that I had been there before (I had come before to check on the hotel) and was told 80.000 ugx (21 dollars). She said like "it is for a single room" – and I was there alone at the reception asking her that. 🙂 So, I took a room for 21 dollars. I asked to make sure that my next payment would be the next day or tomorrow meaning Sunday – she said "yes". But then in the daytime they called my room to tell me that I need to pay for another night. We agreed with a manager on 50.000 ugx (13 dollars) of extra payment. I stayed at the same room as in this video – but it had no fan. When I asked for a fan they brought it with no plug – only two wires that were supposed to go into the socket. I refused it and asked them to look for one with a plug. They did not bring such one. So, the next night I had to accept this one which a worker there fixed for me in my room. But you understand that you can not move it around the room, otherwise the wires will go out of the socket. I left Monday morning. The good thing about this hotel is that wi-fi internet worked in my room, when at Kenrock they told me it works at the reception. But this is a minor thing for me. There are also other advantages at Tiptone like the single room is bigger than at Kenrock and there is a shower cabin, but do not forget that the price is also bigger. I hope my comment will be helpful to somebody.
