Broadway play 'Jaja's African Hair Braiding' up for five Tony Awards
The play ‘Jaja’s African Hair Braiding’ is now nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Play. Playwright Jocelyn Bioh joins Morning Joe to discuss the play, which closed on Broadway in 2023 and is headed out for a three-city tour starting in September.

Broadway sucks
Art, literature, books, knowledge in general expands the mind and experience of people willing to partake of them. In doesn't mean it cannot be critiqued. But it does mean that you get a greater understanding of others point of views and struggles. It increases acceptance and decreases prejudice.
