  1. Bristol and its waterways is a beautiful city, it is sad to think that in the 1970s the Bristol Corporation planned to fill the docks with concrete and build over it. We would have lost so much if that had happened. Bristol Corporation ruined a lot of the centre of Bristol

  2. Colston's statue would probably still be standing if the people left it to the council to discuss its removal. That abomination should have been taken down years ago, melted down and transformed into a memorial for his victims

  3. Because people forget that England was its own country with its own long history BEFORE going to America and being consumed with jealousy then getting involved with Africans

  4. Just completely blinded by jealousy and anger but after that passed!! The human reality set in! The realisation that they were going to have to live with the legacy of slavery
