Did he want her to work????? How can he expect her to be ready to have sex, cook, and do everything like she's at home all the time???? She shares the bills too? If he doesn't help her do things at home and recognizes that she gets tired too, It's his fault. To be honest, her request asking her husband to scale the fish for her was a condescending request. It would have been better if she just asked him to cook in general. She basically asked him to do the dirty part of her cooking. However, I do believe men should share in the childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. Both genders are at fault in this issue. Some African men see women as property, but at the same time some sisters take advantage of the system to push out their husbands. They usually just married him to get a way to come to the West and establish herself. Once they do that, they have no need for him anymore and push him out. However, some of these brothers don’t select well when they go back home to seek wives.
The main problem with diaspora is they marry women who would never marry them if they weren't in the diaspora.
My African brothers … listen to me clearly and read this slowly. DO NOT BRING YOUR WIVES/GIRLFRIENDS TO THE WEST! The Western marriage/family laws will ruin you. You've been warned!
