NPP must understand that our politics is more influenced by tribalism and religion. NPP should never dream of winning Voltarians and Northerners votes. They must focus on the people who always bring them to power. This election, they focus more on winning Voltarians and Northerners which led to the huge defeat. Akans always bring NPP to power. People will talk about tribalism, but that's the reality. No tribe is more tribalistic than Northerners and Voltarians in Ghana

Rawlings won because Volta voted for ndc,.Kufour won because Asante voted,Mills won because Central voted, Mahama won 2012 because Northerm voted, Nana Addo won because Eastern region voted,therefore how can Bawumia win when northen region doesn't vote for npp? Not even Muslims voted for him
NPP did a big mistake by choosing Bawumia ahead of Alan, religion to is a factor. NPP should do all they can to get Mr Alan back to NPP to take power for the NPP. Because without Alan as long as Mr Alan is alive NPP cannot win power without him. The letter killeth but the Spirit gives life, a word to the wise is enough.
Bawumia is still the best option for NPP. It isn't the fact that folks don't like him that they refused to go and vote, but for the fact that two or three other candidates vying for flagbearer position spoke evil against the party during their campaigns. You should learn to stop making the party unpopular by your parochial emotional excesses.
