My son is a active marine . No matter what, thank you and we love you🇺🇲
Khe Sanh is a great song by Aussie band Cold Chisel also.
god bless your sacrifice sir
This man's lived three mane's lives and takes it better than someone who's never left his house.
And to think i was born during that battle…thank you USMC!!!
My step father retired from the corps as a gunny and had done 3 combat tours to nam as a 0311 machine gunner as he called it the "PIG" he didn't talk much about the war he lost all 3 of his older brothers in Vietnam and he struggled with that up until he passed away 8 years ago towards the end he opened up to me and told me anything and everything about his time in nam and the Marines the emotion he showed during these conversations and the stories he shared with me you wouldn't wish on any soul to experience he joined when he was 17 and by time his turned 20 all three of his brothers were KIA with one MIA. Only two that actually came home for a proper funeral, during his time in Vietnam my step father was shot twice and stepped on a bamboo stick trap in total receiving 3 purple hearts and several other medals he was an absolute hero in my eyes still to this day I cherish everything I learned from him and everything he shared with me no telling where I'd be in life it wasn't for that man.
This man is a true hero and legend and I am so glad I came across this video.
Imagine how many less wars would be fought if the men making the choices to go war (Presidents, Secretaries of Defense ect) had to fight along side the blue collar men they send, I feel like we would have world peace if that were the case. I want to make VERY CLEAR I am not under minding anything men like this hero have sacrificed, too many great men are dying to this very day every single day fighting a war they didn't start to protect their country, true red blooded heroes in my eyes.
Just a Dog Face as the Gyrines would say. I carried a radio for a year. Sent friends home in bags. You don't fight for God and country, not for the flag, but the guy next to you. Race didn't matter. Appearance didn't matter.
Really well done short doc.
OMG! What an absolutely riveting story!
We owe our VETS so much.
I don’t feel bad for the terrorist and definitely don’t bad for a single German but i feel bad for most men who die in war. They’re fighting and dying leaving families and they both feel like they are right they are fighting for the truth they’ve been told and the brothers and sisters they lost. I wish we could all come together regardless of race color gender etc and just love each other and enjoy this planet together and take better care of it.
What a heart wrenching story one of thousands that veteran was incredible so sad for so many bloody waste of life man never learns we just keep having wars thank you kindly RIP all those unfortunate sons and daughters ❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢
BRCC the same BRCC that shit on Kyle Rittenhouse for wearing a BRCC shirt? Cowards
That Cpl story had me in stitches 🤣, Semper Fi from a Fox Co 2/5 0311… OORAH!!!
Trivia: To Gen X Australia, our unofficial national anthem is a song called Khe Sanh. It’s basically the Aussie Born in the USA. Even though we weren’t in that particular battle.
If you find the videos of the cu chi tunnels you see one where there was a tunnel 100 yards next to the ammo dump. That's how they got their first hit .
Demanding his son to do what he wanted to do from the beginning to become something that he was never able to become
Some people you could listen to reminiscing all day, Dennis is one of those. Thanks for telling your story.
Lance corporal to corporal in half a day…just so you can go to conpany staff. That screwed up allowances and pay. The Corps is still dealing with the paper work. Plus, fulfilling other people's expectations. Serve your dad right. Didn't meet his expectations. But, you did your job and came back😂
Whoever needed wonderful human
No doubt AI has replaced heavy jobs but seldom a human
WOW….what a story!!! I can't imagine what it must have been like to go back all those years later……unreal???
It's the best video I've ever seen. Well done, guys. Thank you for your service
What an unbelievable story. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for your service.
nobody can escape destiny, apparently.
My uncle is USMC Lance Corporal Thomas Buono who fought this battle, and I'm proud of him for his service.
Is it a music video? Respect the story. It’s enough without a concert in the background
Ahh yes… talks about this but then backs out of assisting Rittenhouse. Want good coffee? Drink Deathwish.
Two peoples came out of that; Heroes and badasses. Some are both!
My father n Law was at khe Sanh….Master Sargent Worlden ( Sonny) Franks
Purple Heart and Silver Star recepent
When I was a heroin junkie I got my gear from an old Vietnamese man who was actually an NVA officer from 66-70 when he was captured. He remained in a camp until Shortly after the war when he moved to Florida and became a high school teacher until his retirement in 20011. He had a lot of stories and a lot of undeniable proof those stories were true. He was at this battle along with several other notable battles. When asked how he survived he simply stated it was pure luck.
HAS JOE BIDEN MENTIONED his son Bow killed 3,496 Viet Cong insurgents with only a Soup Spoon before he was killed by a Soviet Missile…. yet?
It's a shame he made up the people in the mist story, what a great person.
What an absolute legend. Oorah, sir.
had aguy from home kill while on patrol while at khe sahn mike conley, he was part of the north country platton from plattsburgh
Thanks for sharing and documenting such a story.
