Brazilian Fish Stew ((Moqueca Baiana))
Brazilian Fish Stew ((Moqueca Baiana))
Fish Stews can be so boring…but not a BRAZILIAN Fish Stew!! With a fragrant tomato coconut sauce with a fresh hit of lime, this is such a different exotic way to serve up fish that is off the charts delicious – yet simple to make.

👏
This was damn good! Tu
Looks so tasteful but not moqueca baiana at all.
Good recipe anyway ❤
Delish !
what fish do you normally use
Delicioso
Love the simplicity of this video! No talking just nice tune in the background and visuals to see what you’re doing! Trying this tonight ! Thanks! ❤🎉
If there is no water, it is not a beach. If there are no trees, it is not a forest. If f there is no music, it’s not a dance club. If it DOESN’T have red palm oil, you CANNOT call it moqueca BAIANA.
Your recipe is done in an asian manner with marination and pre frying in the steps. Though not authentically Brazilian in how it is cooked, I appreciate the simplicity of your version, and this is most likely how my Asian husband would want me to prepare it. 😊
Adoro frutos do mar !
NOOOOOOOOOOO! WRONG! This is wrong in so many levals that I wont even bother in correct it. But defenetily that recipe it isn't moqueca, maybe it's nice and all, but IT ISN'T MOQUECA
This looks delicious, but moqueca baiana is not made like this
I love this recipe thank you so much for sharing I have been making it a lot lately
This was so delicious thank you for sharing!
Super – das beste Gericht aus Brasilien 😀 Muito obrigado
This is not moqueca. We dont do moqueca this way.
To everyone complaining how it's not authentic, we get it, but not everywhere in the world has annatto or palm oil or whatever. Plus browning some ingredients before stewing generally just adds some punch up.
Missed the dendê
Wait, what? This is not how Brazilian fix Moqueca. Sorry. Sugar is not used, fish is not fried first WITHOUT GARLIC OF ALL THINGS, and so many other things wrong here. You might want to try this again.
Looks delicious but this is not moqueca baiana at all.
This is soo delicious. I bread and fry my fish first then add it to the stew. Soo delicious with rice, pasta, bread rolls or cornbread.
Sua receita está maravilhosa! Parabéns 👏👏👏 parece muito gostosa 😋😋😋😋❤️❤️❤️
Thank you thank you thank you! I surprised my Brasiliero wife with this recipe and she was thrilled! Just like home cooking
🐟 🔥 🍚…. Nice. This is why God invented the internet.
Yummy

Where’s the red palm oil!!??
Hi I'm a Brazilian in Australia. This recipe with australian ingredients is the best ! Cheers from Brisbane
It looks like delicious but it isn't a Brazilian moqueca or fish stew. I'm from Bahia and the moqueca bahiana needs to add red palm oil. In addition, the ingredients aren't fried. Everything is boiled. Finally, the moqueca doesn't have paprika.
I am not a big fan of coriander/cilantro.😝 That is the only herb I try to avoid in cooking .

this fish recipe is everything in this world, except moqueca baiana.
What a shit recipe!!
I’m sorry this isn’t moqueca from any angle
Gonna try this with some monkish I have in freeze — which doesn't show a lot of option in on line recipes, so I risk but confident. Ive made Moqueca before, this seems easy, not too much exotic spice. Hope you are surviving the smoke of the fires in your new house, Nagi. Waiting to here any news on your blog.
This looks so tasty!
I'm baiana, Very good. But the moqueca has azeite de Dendê. Thanks, beijos da Bahia Brasil.
What is the best fish u recommend? Could I add scallops?
