Democracies are a rare gem and we need to defend them wherever they succeed. My congratulations to President Boko and respect is given to Former President Masisi. It's not often you have a bloodless transition of power even in the era of nation states. From America, I'm hoping Botswana will continue to rise as a regional force for good 🙂
Very good leaders.
SADC we need the the same way for Moçambique, becouse FRELIMO refuse to give podemos party and Venâncio Mondlane
Enough is enough let him go home and sleep, Uganda 🇺🇬 my mother land waiting for you in 2026

Botswana people are blessed than in zim which is ruled by vampire s evil leaders with blood in their vains off killing opponents and torturing activist and supporters on other candidates zim and Mozambique Myanmar has heartless leadership
But the former ruling party tried to develop the country not like ZANU pf they invited porvery to people off Zimbabwe they are scattered all over the world
It's okey they will come back and rule again
Thanks Botswana for following smooth power transition like Kenya🇰🇪.

This is good, we want governments that are not afraid of losing power
M in Serowe( Ian Khama's home village), it was so cool during the election day and the following it was even quiet as if nothing happened, pple were busy with everyday usually tasks even today. Botswana in terms peace we are who God want us to be.
Yeah, thts how we are in Botswana, you loose you move aside without any friction. We believe in peace.
I'm in South Africa, we still have the same ruling party but in this year's elections the there was no outright winner. We now have a coalition government.
