  1. Disagree, it is a large amount of rear room! I started with I4 to I5. I can comfortably fit 5 grown adults. Also, the range improves with driving. Get 315 miles on full charge. Again this is from someone who OWNS one.

  2. 2 months later but, let me tell y'all. The public charging experience for this car is MISERABLE. Especially considering the fact that your Premium Offers are mainly for electrify america

  3. 1:30 Dear Marques can you make the spec sheet a bit easier on the eyes? For example:

    – Text outlined on the left
    – First what the a number is referring to (curb weight for example)
    – Then the number

  4. I've just ordered an Audi Q6 e-Tron and one of the main reasons why I didn't go for a BMW is that many of their electric cars are on shared platforms with ICE cars. I plan to keep that car for many years, and a compromised platform is just a no-go.

  5. The autonomous driving is something that needs to get mentioned. And the Software they made is actually really good. Charge Planning works really great so you can go long distances with it with no headakes. But again the autonomous features especially the lane changing is amazing. You can feel safe using it up to speeds of 80 miles an hour and its just flawless. Seat Quality and ride Quality are truely premium too. Yes its expensive but its high quality aswell no cheap materials no squeeking no worries that something breaks soon. Its a good car. First car in ages were i prefer the integrated navigation system to android auto or apple carplay. I use the system now for 3 Months and its just working very well. Voice commands also first car were they actually work fine and get better overtime because the system learns !

  6. Get the i4/i5 eDrive 40 RWD to review. Less acceleration as M60 and no AWD, but it has more range and cheaper (even with all extras). Much more bang for the buck.

  7. Great review however this is not a ICE made into a EV the design was created to use one platform with either power sources. This car was conceived to be used in both applications vs MB who have made separate EV models(ugly ducks by the way ) This car is amazing and surpases many other EV's hands dwn. It's always funny when a reviewer compares something to Tesla have you driven a tesla it quick in a straight line only the rest is crap poor build quality , fit & finish and fake lux. BMW builds real cars for various applications serious drivers who expects performance & the best of both worlds in one..

  8. i wish he would be this honest and critical when interviewing people like Tim Cook or Elon Musk. MKBHD doesn't play Ultimate Frisbee, he plays softball.

  9. So it's just as ugly as a the normal 5 series and comes with all the downsides of not being a ground up EV + horrible range. What a horrible car.
The fact that it's an M makes it even worse. The People who buy this aren't interested in driving it in eco all the time. It will run out of battery after like 30min on the autobahn.

  10. BMW might have something in 2026, a new EV built from the ground up! Excited to see what they come up with. They were late to the game, but that might not be necessarily a bad thing, they've always been lower volume.
