This is what general Chinese are. Very different from US because I seldomly see any Americans want to do their best to leave good impressions on foreigners. This is huge cultural difference. In Chinese culture, to be welcome, showing the best part and always willing to help is very ancient tradition by Confucianism. We have this character which was captured by you, thanks! While in US I feel people generally just don’t care about foreigners and won’t do anything specific. More individualism culture. So the internationals experience would be very different which made me miss the cultural environment I grew up with🥲
