  1. The odd thing about these videos, these young revolutionaries say it like they are the first to tell everyone. Everyone knows the history but he leaves it at that for emotional manipulation. SMWX has a much better take and he is no less of a revolutionary

  2. We must bear in mind that 2 two thirds of the country is semi-desert. The traditional homelands was, sufficient at the time. I am not aware that people were forced to come work for Afrikaners and the British rule. They instead were forced by hunger and droughts. The economic growth in the cities did not only draw black people but white people to who could not survive on the farms or who were redundant.
Penual we must talk about the complexity of the topic, the good and the bad.

  3. Penuel, your extrapolation on this Land matter is a sell-out position. You're too Liberal on the Matter. Your interactions with Hersov is beginning to turn-coat you.

    Hai Bafo.. ..

  4. Adhere to the time line of history. By jumping from 1948 to 1913 to the British Empire's conquest to Verwoerd makes one think the masses commuted from the Homelands by taxi to work for the madame. Also, do some research before the monolog because all you are doing is impressing the people who feel hard done by already.

  5. 1918 Spanish flu- Afrikaners establish AVBOB to assist their people with burials.

2019 COVID- ANC lead gov hands out R350. PPE corruption scandals.

Through the Helpemekaar movement, Afrikaners were able to give out student loans in order to educate their people so that they could pull themselves out of poverty and join the middle class English-speaking whites. Such redical transformation movements and funding schemes inspired the Afrikaners to establish Eskom,Sanlam,Santam,KWV…and many other companies which at the time were solely focused on empowering a once marginalized and previously disadvantaged white population of this country.

ANC might be the best policy makers but the Afrikaners are the best at implementing them. They are more EFF than the actual EFF.

  6. Black people need land, for what no one knows, our children hate farming, they enjoy wine, drugs, they like urban life building shacks at any available space sharing with foreign nationals who left 100% lands in their countries of origin

  7. All land should be returned to the Africans, and all progress, development, knowledge and education, Western technologies should be removed. No more electricity, communications, plumbing, internet, radio, tv, houses, farming equipment, boats, cars, aeroplanes and other Western infrastructure. The Westerners should return to Europe, so Africa is finally free from Westerners and their values. The Westerners will also be so kind to write off all the money and resources spent on aid.

It would be the best way to reset everything for Africans to develop and show their excellence. They can then live under the boots of China and Russia, because they such an excellent track record of human rights. Mud hut Wakanda will be paradise.

  8. When speaking to black audiences, it is never mentioned that the Boers faught against the British colonialists in an attempt to overthrow their racist and xenophobic government The Boers (it has recently been determined) lost approx. 60'000 lives in the Anglo/Boer war….. that was the real war against the colonialists. What did the ANC do? They went to the same colonialists that oppressed them and asked them to sort the problem they started in the first place. Isn't that treason?
Btw, the Russians sent soldiers and medics to help the Boers in the Anglo/Boer war.
The Afrikaaners in the Cape turned joiners and traitors during that war.

  9. all these fight people who see the need to fight is KZN people, refere back zulus fought the english, zulus fought with boers, kzn fought by forming ANC, KZN just fight the ANC by foarming MK and the rest of the provinces voting same ANC that is been captured under the venda leadership because they were not there when this started, So People tell are Zulus only south africans? because this shows that they are the only people concerned about black peoples issues while others come when fruits are ripe.

  10. Land Act was done in what was still a British ruled SA but was inacted by Jan Smuts (an Afrikaner) and was understood as laying the groundwork for the coming Afrikaner rules of the country as the British were widely to be granting the country self-rule

  11. Completely distorted view – I am disappointed Penuel. Please consider two facts: Fact 1: 55% of South Africa is classified as true desert where e.g. 10 hectares of grazing is required to raise 1 sheep. Using modern farming methods, marginal land can be utilised but only on a large scale with the requisite skills, access to capital and massive risk-taking. By contrast, the Eastern parts of the country (between the Drakensberg and the ocean) is a high-rainfall region with fertile soil – in KZN 70% of this land is Black-owned and the traditional Transkei probably close to 95%.
Fact 2: It is often overlooked by commentators that the 1913 Land Act was originally intended to protect Black land owners and forbid the sale of their land to whites. John Tengo Jabavu (founder of the first Xhosa newspaper, "Imvo Zabantsundu") was very vocal in his support of the Act at the time.

  12. @penuel……you are right grootman. My grandfather used to tell me that his father co-owned the land with a Boer in Bainsvlei in the free state even during this period and the two families shared the profits of the land until someone snitched on the Boer and the white man was punished severely in such a that they decided to run away and seek refuge in Bophuthatswana

  13. The land issue is a sad one in 1962 Lesotho was granted its land back but still today it has never been resolved even in democractic state that we live in. This resolution does need a visit "reclamation of Lesotho territory" will be pursued under the United Nations Resolution 1817 (XVII), which was passed by the General Assembly at its 1 196th Plenary Meeting of 18 December 1962. "The Honourable House resolves, pursuant of Section 1(2) of the Constitution, to declare the whole of the Free State, parts of the Northern Cape, parts of the Eastern Cape, parts of Mpumalanga and parts of KwaZulu-Natal as comprising the territory of the Kingdom of Lesotho" In most recent years many wanted Lesotho to be a province of south africa which is sad to see how much ppl know.

  14. This hole conversation is pointless. People can't eat land. With free land you can't get a loan from the bank. Free land kan do nothing for you. Except if you are a subsistence farmer . But what future can you give your kids if you are one. U really don't give value to the economics of south africa. Economics of south africa is complex. Subsistence people give no value to their kids or the Economics. Every one has a role to play. You can't just sit on the side line, but you want everything for free. Everything has a price to pay.

  15. Pen, You should watch 'Firing Line with William F. Buckley Jr.: The Question of South Africa' It's an interview with B.J Vorster in the 1970's.

It's a much more clear understanding of that time. I mean most people completely ignore the communists who were the real driving force behind the overthrow of Apartheid Government who did it for their own reasons and it had very little to do with helping black South Africans.

the Firing Line also do a interview with Ian Smith. Very interesting to watch.

  16. Black people own what 10%, sorry bantus and Europeans must go back to their respective empires. Plus, don't forget the 1909 mission stations and reserve act, native means the original people of Southern Africa. Be truthful thank you

  17. The ONLY option for peace and stability in South Africa is real power sharing, something that was talked about before 1994 but was rejected by the ANC after they took power in 94. We not only need better municipal services we need genuine political change to satisfy the white, Indian, coloured, and black people otherwise this country is going nowhere. South Africa became a country officially in 1885 many years after 1652 when the whites came here, so all this should be taken into consideration when talking about politics in this country.
