But barbie it's a real girl, barbara and she had blue eyes, blonde.. it's just a toy,… We grow up playing with superman, he was white and able to fly.. and i didn't say why he is not like me.. you need to say to your kids that they don't need to be like their toys because those are just toys😂😂😂

  2. I'm 31 and I had a good variety of Barbies when I was a kid, this was always normal for my generation, it would be weird if a black one didn't exist! I loved my black Barbie, she had a fashion short patterned orange dress and long hair 😍

  3. Back when Barbie was first created, America was a majority white country. It makes sense that they’d create a white doll, to represent the majority. Obviously today is different, but I don’t know why so many of these companies are looking back with such shock, that there weren’t more people of colour included. Disney is the same, everyone is shocked most of the princesses were white?

  4. This documentary is extremely unnecessary! How is this empowering to BW? It's showing jealousy, envy, insecurities etc. Barbie is white! She had friends of many ethnicities who went by different names. Christie was black. But they are so dense that they…what a waste of time typing this. This is not empowering and again, bw are continuing to show their inferiority complexes only as if it is something empowering. It’s not
