  1. Thank you Alec for the "special place in hell…" comment. I cannot understand why SA have so many laws (thrown at law abiding citizens mostly, from ridiculous Competition Commission rulings, to disgusting behavior by SARS officials trying to 'defraud' middle class taxpayers by invoking spuriously applied clauses in the ITA, etc.), but criminal enterprises thrive. No wonder we are slipping into a mafia state. It's almost as if the authorities only have respect for criminals.

  2. Platforms that carry deep fake ads should be held responsible. Good practice would be to carry out some form of KYC ("Know your client"), as is required for financial institutions, for all advertisers. These ads are so obviously unlawful/fraudulent/fake etc. that they don't have an excuse not to detect it, especially considering that all these platforms already expend a lot of effort into moderating and censoring user content. They literally take dirty money.

  3. Maybe it’s been highlighted and exposed that the convid was done in order these companies then put some into financial difficulty only to ACQUIRE them as one large conglomerate. It’s actually criminal like and needs oversight as these created crises occur in the interests of a few. Look at the persons behind these pending acquisitions, you’ll find a pattern over decades with the same names of persons involved. Not everything is as it seems , nor are the citizens asleep
