I am Catholic yet i don't see anything wrong in blessing same sex marriage. When it comes to church there is one thing i cannot accept and never will: He as priest speaks in the name of God because he beleives he trully understands what God wants from us. Guess what? Priest that trully understands true intentions of God doesn't exist. If you read all the books within bible you'll find in many places one book contradicting another. We were always told to be afraid of God yet i am not afraid of God for one reason: I am willing to face him,admit all my sins and accept any punishment for my sins He wants me to so should he tell me to go to hell i'll do so gladly.

The whole point behind marriage was to seek out god in ceremony to bless you on your choice to build a family. Women died giving birth and in some cases couldnt get pregnant at all. The idea of gay marriage is in and of itself a mockery of what marriage is. This is also why bastards was such an insult as it meant you were born without gods blessing. Society forgot, and so did the pope which is disgraceful.
