  1. My goodness โ€œ they donโ€™t allow 2 person with the same gender in 1 room โ€ ? Thatโ€™s absolutely not true, I am from Burundi and we grow up sleeping by 6 on 1 matress!
They just wanted you to pay 2 rooms, what if you travel with your daughter or mum or ectโ€ฆ.
Next time please donโ€™t accept and say it out loud that you will pay for 1 room thatโ€™s it or go somewhere else, Jesus people are trying by any means to rip you off.

By the way Burundi have never had any problem with this issue before,
Itโ€™s very common to see guys walking holding hands or shoulders and itโ€™s very normal and it doesnโ€™t mean they are gay at all.

In Clubs it is also very common to see guys dancing together a dance that you have to be in close contact, touch hands and all
It is just so pure and naive but beautiful

  2. Thank you for visiting Burundi. I like you and Blessed Rackel because you see and show Burundi through the eyes of our fellows from the East African Community and Burundians can hear your comments and try change where needed.
But I think that in hotels and lodgings it would be specified that a room is a single-bed or a two-bed and the guest pays accordingly. So even strictly for commercial reasons, the hotel management would hope that each adult pays for his or her own bed.
For exemple where breakfast is free/included, the hotel might end up feeding 1,2,or 3 people who stayed in a single room (same goes for water use for exemple).
