  1. "The inability of ghanaians to come up with creative ideas" is she dumb? its not that we're incapable. why didnt she make her own if shes so knowledgeable? People always have criticisms with no solutions.

  2. It's such a shame that instead of outrage and lawsuits they give this brazen act of cultural appropriation praise.

I honestly hope this gets the attention of the Asante and they do something about this brazen attempt at neocolonialism.

The "owner claims" his inspiration came from visiting West Africa, oh yeah? Then where is the Ghanaian ran hibiscus farm, Ghanaian farmers, Ghanaian factory? Where is the value to the Ghanaian economy? Where is the Ghanaian value chain as you so adequately asked? This is a travesty and daylight robbery

  3. I'm trying really hard to be remotely excited about this but having a Spanish brand behind this is bad enough. Having Ghanaians dish out their cash for their culturally appropriated product makes it worse. Furthermore, is the original company registered in Ghana to pay tax to the Ghanaian government or to make it even worse, this is going to be another source of foreign exchange transfer from Ghana? No no no! If Scotch Whiskey is NOT ALLOWED to be produced outside of Scotland by law, for example, why should we allow this? This is so messed up and I'm quite frankly disappointed in this Ghanaian woman cashing in on this lunacy.
