  1. Our Black-LaLwizyànan Jambalaya rice dish here in Louisiana derives from the Senegambia region's Jollof rice dish. Because our enslaved Wolof ancestors brought it here to Louisiana when it was the French colonial territory of Louisiana. From the Senegambia's Jollof rice dish to our Black-LaLwizyànan Jambalaya rice dish here in Louisiana.❤🔱🖤

  2. Ok, I’m a super fan of jollof rice. I like both Nigerian and Ghanaian version. But I’ve never would’ve imagined Senegalese Jollof. This is artisanal.

I NEED to try it. I must

  3. Any African who sees this Jollof rice cooking process will concede that this Jollof is next level. The effort put into this is unmatched. As a Nigerian, I have to admit, we ain't got nothing on them.

  4. Great! I agree that Ndar is the capital of thieboudiene. Unfortunately, due to fish exports, the usual bigger Thioff is no longer available to ordinary people. That’s why they are using small fish in video. Also, they sometimes add boulettes of fish, bread and condiments.

  5. Rhe key to a delicious jollof is Onions, different species of pepper, different species of tomatoes ginger garlic bayleave thyme and rose mary….forget it..
All these i see in this video. That is why even without eating it i have concluded that it is delicious already 😂
This is how some Nigerians cook theirs with the ingredients i have just listed…
