  1. Hey everyone,

I’m planning a trip to Japan in 2025 and looking to maximize my savings through travel points. I also plan to buy a car soon, so I’m thinking of making the down payment with a new credit card to unlock a sign-up bonus. I currently have a Chase Freedom Unlimited card with around 30,000 Chase points and an above-average credit score. I’ve already been pre-approved for the Amex Platinum.

Given these details, what do you think would be the best travel card for me to get right now? I’m particularly interested in cards that offer good rewards for international travel, especially if they can complement or transfer points to my Chase account. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Hi John, I know this is an old video, but how were you able to find 60k-70k miles flights for a 8300+ distance boston-manila (business!!! assuming that was a One-way trip even) while I am having a very hard time paying 45k miles for a simple 1400 RT flight within the US (economy!) Please! Help w this math! 🙏

  3. I got the Capitol One Venture card pretty easily but when I went to make a $800 payment from my bank account they took the money and then froze my account. After a few declined purchases I called the bank who informed me that I would have to send them proof of my bank statements before unlocking my account! Never in all my years have I ever been questioned because I'm PAYING A BILL! I refused because just sounded backwards to me and just going to pay it off and move onto better cards.

  4. John .. let me ask you a question by applying for the build card will it be a hard hit on my credit report?… I started to fill it out and they only asked me for the last four digits of my social..
