I wish I could hit a 200yd 6 iron man…
64 lie on a 6 iron is pretty upright isn’t it?
Have been playing the Pro 243s for about a month now and absolutely love em
I really enjoy your videos and have been to your Toronto facilities and they’re amazing. BUT it would’ve been cool if Titleist 620 CB was included in this video. Maybe you have them in another video, but they won 2 majors in 2023 and are still available for custom order from Titleist (as of Oct ‘24). So it seems like this would be a pretty good choice as a players CB!
I play Blueprint s my son has ordered Ben Hogan PXT pro tour they look terrific you should include them in any other tests
I was surprised Apex not being in the top4. The CB is the best feeling iron I have ever hit and I have tried quite many since 1988.
Have y’all looked at the Cleveland Zipcore XL at all?
Everytime Mikey calls you… Rhymes with… fries… I cringe
This is a premium video for this content. The fact that he swings it great is a plus, but the actual conversation they have is great, really helps understand what each club is like, way better than just spitting out the specs. Also pay attention to the screen, he is super consistent on his point of impact, impressive. 👍. Love the content
What kind of handicap/player ability are these clubs targeted to?
Why are you hitting these farther than the players distance irons you tested?
Here come the ZX 9’s Mach III
Impressive …but quality control varies in every club mfg EXCEPT….Miura.
Would be nice to see a comparison of the new TM p770, PXG 0317 t, Titleist T150, Ping i230, Callaway Apex pro, Mizuno Jpx923 forged, etc.
It’s an interesting category and would love to see the results !
Why did they use that picture for the Wilson’s?
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze…
For the price, Wilsons are unbeatable. And you don't look every other normie on the course with Titleists or Taylor Made.
I purchased Mizunos new, used them 5 rounds and sold them for half price secondhand. With that money I bought new Wilsons. Much better IMO
What shaft was used in the irons?
This is the most exciting class – my favourity. I would have liked to see the 620CB instead of the T150
When I did my fitting with club champion. My top 3 or 4 were Mizuno Pro 243, Blue print S and T150/100. I went with the Mizuno Pro 243’s for me was feel, dispersion and also how it felt when I miss hit it. I think though it’s what you are drawn to with a mix of what you like and feel. There were alot of irons in the test I hit but right away I did not like the feel so I pushed them away and honestly numbers don’t lie either lol.
Quite an upright lie u play ian?
Rick Shiels already showed the new Taylormade CBs and new P770s when he went on the TM tour bus at The Open
Are the offsets all the same?
What about the top boutique brands that are better made and have better feels than these mass marketed brands?
Is Ian very 'upright' because he wants the 'toe-down' metric being as closed to 0 as possible?
Must be the p7cb that was on the tour truck at the open. Proper looker of an iron.
Cobra King Tours are seriously slept on… I just visited yall’s Woodlands Texas store and had a great experience with the fitting. I was playing srixon ZX7 that I had bought 2nd hand but ended up being fit into the Cobra King Tour. They gave me enough spin and height that I’m confident I can hold greens even with the longer irons. Plus the forgiveness of them was honestly surprising! More people should give them a try even if they’re higher handicap players.
No Honma TW757vx? Sadface. They're by far my favorite irons I've had.
crazy that you guys still don't show the irons in the playing position.
Would love to see a Miura comparison of 501 v the 301.
I know you wont have them for fittings etc but would be interesting to see how a DTC brand did v these for half the money like Takomo CB's
Play the apex cb and let me tell you they are buttery. Excellent spin and launch. Just really hard to beat. So consistent as well.
And the winner is…….. Maltby TS3. (No I don't work for Golf Works, just a fan.)
Should try the Maltby DBM’s 👀
Love my TC 201's. Been in my bag for two years now. I dont think I'll change anytime soon.
Great top 4.0. Of those 4…Wilson takes the win.
Do you feel some irons produce more bigger flyer shots than others! It really is a genuine question as I feel sometimes some irons I’ve played on the course do produce massive flyers and I will be interested to know which irons produce less flyers if that’s possible
Why not include the old trusty Titleist CBs? I would classify the t100 and t150s as hollow bodied. The CB is an absolute classic and mostly unchanged over the last few years.
Just ordered the t200. Hopefully under 3 weeks I'll get them
Why the T150/T100 and not the CB? Curious minds wonder

Well, I was fitted. Hit some of these, not others. The fitter wanted me to buy the Callaway Paradym graphite shaft. Just was not sold on it. Went with the Mizuno forged 243, which I hit well, and spin was better than Titleist 200, and bigger hits
How big of a difference is there between the Nippon 1150gh taper stiff shaft and the dynamic gold mid 115 S300? Just curious if anyone has used either before
New WITB when P7CB gets released?
Is 2 degrees toe down normal? When would you need to start adjusting lie angle?
as usual, best test on youtube. if i may, i'd post these, for future, bit earlier since at this point of the year, if i'd be in the market, i would wait for 2025 lineups (mizzies usually preview late august, titleist too, taylormade already out with proto cb). that being said, you guys are the real number ones of youtube testing!
Srixon ZX7 MKII
When the 0317s price drop when the new ones come out I’m adding them to the bag. Shouldn’t be too long now they’ve been out for a bit
