The video title needs to be changed and any reference to "jerky" needs to be removed. Biltong is biltong and jerky will never come close to it!
South African Jerky – Please😱
why dont more people just hang their meat out like this instead of buying dehydrators?
MEAT
Could you do this in winter
Nice video , thanks for the share. Two things, when dealing with food, materials used matter. Don't just use anything- example large variety of paperclips are made from galvanised steel wire. Vinegar leeches these metals. Use food grade hooks. Also, it is not jerky. Jerky is jerky, biltong is biltong 😇 there is a difference.
Love billtong made with good meat and good company.

Meat. Inspired to make some.
Bit different to how i do it (i copied my Oupa's way) but looks decent all the same – love the way everyone has their own little tweak on Saffa's favourite 👍
I'm estimating pemiccan would value @ same cost effectiveness. Approximately 66% of muscle 💪 weight is moisture.
paperclips rust like crazy when exposed to salt and water.
are you worried about flies getting into meat?
Meat. That’s making my mouth water Harry!
Meat
Meat. I have to try this.
Meat. Thanks for sharing!!
I tried the recipe with 2 tablespoons of chilli powder and it's bloody spicy lol, I don't know what your 6 tablespoons would be like… Maybe it's the fire in this episode
