  1. I’m no dr., but why would you recommend coconut oil in the smoothie when coconut oil has a saturated fat content comparable to meat, cheese, and butter?

  6. All of the studies I've been presented with say that Maca root does not increase testosterone levels, all the results from all the studies supported that. But, there was anecdotal evidence suggesting it did improve libido etc. Tongkat Ali however has been shown scientifically to raise testosterone levels. I could be mistaken though! Have you found legitimate studies proving that Maca does raise testosterone? I didn't see anything referenced in your video.

  7. On a particularly strong psilocibin trip I was "told" by the plant to start taking maca. I had somewhat peripherally known about it from my interest in plant medicine but had no idea at the time what it did or how it would benefit, literally it was just the "trip" telling me to take it.
    I've been taking it for ten years now and completely benefitted me in so many ways, anxiety, energy, it really is a superfood. There's some research indicating that Chacon variety is the purest and most effective but it's nearly impossible to find. Most of whats available is the meyenii variety. I guess the colors seem to also matter but I never tried to specifically buy black or red or yellow, I assume what I get is a mixture of all but there's places where you should read up if you have specific benefits in mind. For some reason, I always get VERY VIVID dreams when taking it as well. Haven't heard much from the lucid dreaming community on it but you may want to give it a shot.
    Ancient superfoods still making people better thousands of years later. Nature is awesome!
